This is a quick proof-of-concept hack to integrate the "libsball"
Spaceball library with the Virtual Terrain Project "glutSimple" demo
on Linux.  All configurable parameters are currently hardcoded,
requiring modification of the source to adjust (such as the serial
device, scale factors, etc)

You'll need the libsball source from the link below.

This code is distributed AS-IS.  All my work is on Linux; I haven't
tested any of it on Windows.  Likewise, I haven't tried liborb.

Spaceballs can be found on Ebay for << US$100.
